Herd Fundraiser for USC Football Cart

Herdmembers and Trojan Fans,

In August of 2003, Coach Orgeron asked the Herd to provide a golf cart for recruiting. (photo right: Coach O. and the Herd Cart #1) The Herd came up big and delivered. We donated a beautiful six-seat cart to Heritage Hall.

What has happened over the last four seasons with USC Football? Two National Championships, two Heisman trophies, Rose Bowl victories, an unbroken streak of BCS games, top recruiting classes, etc. It is a great time to be a USC Trojan as USC Football is growing by leaps and bounds every year. It is the premier program in all of college football, and like all growing organizations, the athletic department needs new equipment. Recently, the Herd asked the Football Dept what they needed most. The answer: "We desperately need another cart."

As always, the Thundering Herd is here to help. We are attempting to buy Cart #2, a 4 seater for the football department's many needs. (photo left: The Herd with Cart #1, 2003) The Thundering Herd is asking for all Herdmembers and other enthusiastic Trojan fans to donate to this great cause. Heritage Hall is excited about the possibility of having another golf cart at their disposal for recruiting and other needs.

The new Herd golf cart will be presented to the USC Football coaching staff and the USC Football team at a private ceremony this Summer. All contributors will be invited to this private event.
